Mesa Schoolhouse (today)

Built: 1916
The 1916 Mesa Schoolhouse, located south of Steamboat Springs, is an excellent local example of the early twentieth-century rural schoolhouse building type. It was used as a school until 1959 and was placed on the National Historic Register in 2007. The Mesa Schoolhouse was preserved and rehabilitated inside and out. The adaptive reuse serves as a community meeting facility.
