The Colorado State Parks- Yampa River Headquarters had to function not only for the public, but also for the park rangers. The program required a display area, bathrooms, and offices. There are separate entrances to the different parts, to separate public and private. The public entrance is oriented to the parking lot with a gable roof and steps. The private entrance for the rangers is hidden in the back to be less accessible.
